The testing is a key element of the process of learning. The modern techniques, especially the computers and the internet, brought about new tendencies in learning and evaluation. Distance is no more a problem. The relationship teacher-student has radically changed. In order to attend a course or to be evaluated, all you need is a PC and an internet connection. As a new means of evaluation, we mention the periodical self-evaluation. The teacher has to select the type of evaluation, and to create the frame in which the students evaluate themselves. The teacher’s role is to create the standard frame and to correct the student’s evaluation by using the tests created by the student himself.
