A representative of the Advanced Distributed Learning Department participated to the 3rd conference NORDEFCO ( Nordic conference for Advanced Distributed Learning ) held in Gol, Norway for the period 20 to 22 May 2015 .
The conference, organized by Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark is the successor of well known "NORWEGIAN ADL Conference" founded a decade ago and was preceded by a meeting held by ADL Directors of partner laboratories were it was presented the transition from the SCORM standard to xApi and were been established guidelines for future joint activities. The conference aim is to bring together military teachers and instructors involved in the Advanced Distributed Learning phenomenon and ease dissemination of the educational results for all categories of forces of the four countries, to increase both the knowledge base and opportunities for cooperation. |

The participants discussed issues related to emerging technologies that allow easy access to education and training, trends in mobile learning, serious games and wireless simulations. Also as important topics we may mention learning strategies , the introduction of innovation in learning, educational content production and other educational developments that are part of the sphere of Advanced Distributed Learning. The next edition of Nordefco conference will take place in Finland.
